Craving for a very soothing and thirst quenching cool drink is so typical for this very hot summer season, so we took the challenge to beat the heat of the sun just to look for the perfect place that will satisfy our thirst.
Our destination is the very popular Maginhawa Street at U.P. Village for food enthusiast and for instagrammers as well. First stop is at The Lost Bread ( @thelostbread_ ) ,This place is perfect for those food lovers who also happened to be fond of posting on instagram. It has a very rustic and a very relaxing ambiance that your friends will surely love to stay for catching up.
The products in their menu are quite expensive yet they are worth spending when they’re already served. You would like to try everything when you see their unique and colorful café’s.
The staffs of the café were all accommodating and friendly to us. They are close on Moday and open the next day from 11am-10pm, you may also check their website for more information at http://www.thelostbread.com
The last stop we had during the task of looking for the place to spend for this hot summer is the Caffera (@caffera_ph ) ,This is the Metro Manila’s first photography themed café and is few blocks away only from The Lost Bread. The place is also worth to be instagrammed with its unique photography theme, but I would not suggest inviting a group of friends because of its limited space.
The price of their products is very affordable compared to the first shop and they are served in a cup designed like camera lenses. You can also buy cookies shape like cameras and pastries named related into photography.
There are few staffs in these café and are also accommodating as well. They are open from Monday to Sunday at 10am-12mn, so if you want to learn more about Caffera you can check their page at facebook.com/CafferaPh
This summer is a great time to spend with family and friends, so go out there and try those mouth watering food and drinks that they are offering.
